And now the prisoner William
Colman being in open Court for sentence was
demanded if he had any thing to say why sentence
should not be pronounced upon him saith nothing
Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner William
Colman to confinement in the State Prison at hard
labor for the space of Two years -
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow morning at
half past Eight oclock

The undersigned members of the committee ap-
pointed by your Honor to enquire into the quali-
fications of John E. Lambeth to plead and practice
in the Courts of law and of Equity in the State of
Florida most respectfully report that we have
made careful examination of the application
and are satisfied from that examination that the
said John E. Lambeth is well qualified to be ad-
mitted to practice in the Courts of law and of Equity
in this state.
We therefore take great pleasure in recommending
that the said John E. Lambeth be admitted to the
Bar in pursuance of the statute in such cases
made and provided. We would further state
to the Court that J.W. Ashby Esq being absent from
the City was not present at said examination
