               Friday May 13th 1887 -
       
       State of Florida       }  Indictment for
               vs             }  Carrying a tool into Jail with
       Major Meekins otherwise}  intent to facilitate the escape of
       Known as Major Mickle  }  a prisoner -
                                 A True Bill
                                 Joseph A. Shannon
                                 Foreman of the Grand Jury
       State Witnesses Frank Roux  Joe Hill Jas Cooper
                                   W.H. Wigg
                                       State attorney
       And now the Grand Jury having Completed
       its labors for this term Came into open
       Court and presented their General Presentment
       and were discharged from the Court

       State of Florida }
                vs      }  Sentence
       Joseph Roberts   }
                         And now the prisoner Joseph
       Roberts being in open Court for sentence
       was demanded if he had any thing to say why
       sentence should not be passed upon him
       saith nothing whereupon the Court sentenced the
       prisoner Joseph Roberts to pay a fine of
       One hundred Dollars and to stand Com-
       mitted until the said fine of one hundred
       dollars together with the Costs shall be paid

                           Roberts and makes oath
       that he is unable to pay the Cost of the
       Court in this Cause Whereupon the Court ordered
       that the said Cost of Court should be remitted

       George Scott     }
                         And now the prisoner George
       Scott being in open Court for sentence
       was demanded if he had any thing to say
       why sentence Should not be passed upon
       him saith nothing Whereupon the Court sen-
       tenced the prisoner George Scott to confinement
