       Spring Term  A.D. 1887
               Friday May 13th 1887
       in the County Jail at hard labor for the space
       of Six months

       State of Florida }  Wigg
# 56           vs       }  Larceny
       Derry Nettles    }  Thrasher & Hughes
                          And now on this day this
       Cause came on to be heard William H. Wigg State
       attorney prosecuting in the name and by the
       authority of the State of Florida and the prisoner
       appearing in his own proper person as well as by
       his attorneys B.A. Thrasher & F.E. Hughes and now the
       prisoner being arraigned upon his arraignment says
       that he is not guilty as the Indictment alleges
       Whereupon a Jury was called and there came -
       B.E. Moore, S & C Richardson  J.C. Bell  J.L. Spears
       W.H. Hagan  Dote Weeks who were duly Sworn
       and empanelled to well and try try the difference
       pending and thereafter after hearing the evidence
       the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the
       Court retired to Consider of their verdict and
       thereafter on the Same day returned into open
       Court and rendered the following verdict to wit:
       We the Jury find the prisoner not guilty
                                B.E. Moore
                                  Foreman
       Whereupon the prisoner was discharged -

       State of Florida       }  Wigg
                vs            }  Carrying a tool into Jail with
       Major Meekins otherwise}  intent to facilitate the escape
       Known as Major Mickle  }  of a prisoner       Sanchez
                              }  And now this Cause Came
       on to be heard W.H. Wigg State Attorney prosecuting
       in the name and by the authority of the State of
       Florida and the prisoner appearing in his own
       proper person as well as by E.C.F. Sanchez his
       atty and now comes the States attorney and
       moves the Court to nol pros the Indictment as
       to the 2nd & 3rd Counts. Whereupon the prisoner
       being arraigned upon his arraignment saith
       that he is guilty as to the 1st Count in the
       said Indictment
