State of Florida              }
          vs                  }  Sentence
Major Meekins otherwise known }
as Major Mickle               } And now the prisoner being
                                in open Court for sentence
was demanded if he had any thing to say why sentence
should not be passed upon him saith nothing
Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner to con-
finement in the County Jail at hard labor for the
Space of one month -

       vs        }  Motion for a New Trial
Jesse Robinson & }
Anthony Williams }
                 } And now this Cause Came
on to be heard on a motion for a new trial and
now said motion having been submitted to the
Court by Counsel and the Court being advised
of its opinion doth decide that said motion
Shall be overruled and that the same shall
not be granted to which decision and ruling
of the Court the defendants by their Counsel
did then and there except

Anthony Williams } And now on this day the
prisoners Jesse Robinson and Anthony Wil-
liams being in open Court for sentence were
demanded if they had anything to say why
sentence should not be passed upon them
Saith nothing whereupon the Court sentenced
each of the prisoners to confinement in the
States Prison at hard labor for the space of
Two Years -

on to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the authority
of the State of Florida and the prisoner
