appearing in open Court in his own proper person
as well as by his Attorneys O.A. Myers & S.Y. Finley
and now the prisoner being forthwith demanded
how he would acquit himself of the Charge
against him saith that he is not guilty as the
Indictment alleges against him and for good and
evil he puts himself upon God and the Country for
trial Whereupon a Jury was Called and there came
R.E. Wright M.J. Beckham Reuben May
J.I. Holbrook T.J. May H.C. Richardson
who were duly Sworn and empanelled to well
and truly try the difference pending and thereafter
after hearing a part of the evidence
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at Nine oclock

The Court met this day pursuant to adjournment
of yesterday his Honor Thos F. King Judge presi-
ding

And now the states attorney
William H. Wigg - being in open Court as also the
prisoner and his Counsel O.A. Myers & S.Y. Finley as
likewise the Jury who had been duly Sworn and
empanelled on yesterday to wit R.E. Wright M.J. Beckham
Reuben May J.I. Holbrook T.J. May H.C. Richardson
and the Jury aforesaid after hearing the argument
of Counsel and the Charge of the Court retired
to consider of their verdict and thereafter on
the same day returned into open Court and
rendered the following verdict to wit: We
the Jurrors find the Prisoner not guilty
