Fall Term A.D. 1887
          Tuesday December 6th A.D. 1887
At a regular term of the Circuit Court of
the 5th Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida
in and for the County of Alachua for the Fall
Term A.D. 1887 begin and holden at the Court
House in the City of Gainesville in the County
of Alachua - The following proceedings were
begun and held to wit:
                   At which was present
His Honor J.J. Finley Judge of the 5th Judicial
Circuit of Florida, Samuel H. Wienges Sheriff
of Alachua County, and J.A. Carlisle Clerk of
the Circuit Court for said County =

Whereupon the Sheriff Samuel H. Wienges
having called the Venire for the Grand Jury
And
 now the Court is opened with prayer
by Rev A.B. Curry =

And now Comes W.H. Wigg State attorney for the
fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida and moves
the Court to Quash the Venire Facias for the
Grand Jury which motion the Court after
due consideration ordered that said motion
be granted and that

Whereupon the Court on the motion of the
States attorney ordered that a special
Venire facias be issued out of this Court
by the Clerk hereof directed to the Sheriff
of Alachua County requiring him to Sum-
mon Eighteen good and lawful men from
the bystanders of the County to Serve as Grand
Jurors for this the fall Term of our Circuit
Court
Whereupon
       The Court promulgated the foll-
owing rules for the Government of this
Court.            1
No application for admission to the bar will
be considered except in term time and the
examination of the applicant shall if there
be time be in open Court
