State of Florida } Wigg
vs } Having a Concealed Weapon on
George Lovit } his person
And now on this day this Cause
came on to be heard William H. Wigg State atty
prosecuting in the name and by the authority
of the State of Florida and the prisoner ap-
pearing in open Court in his own proper person
And now the prisoner George Lovit being forthwith
demanded how he would acquit himself
of the Charge against him saith that he is
guilty as the Indictment alleges against him

George Lovit } And now the prisoner George
Lovit being in open Court for sentence was
demanded if he had anything to say why
sentence should not be passed upon him
Saith nothing, Whereupon the Court sentenced
the prisoner George Lovit to pay a fine of
Twenty Five dollars together with the Costs
of the Court and that the prisoner stand
Committed until said Fine and Cost is paid.
And now Simeon Miller being brought into open
Court under attachment as a Defaulting witness
was demanded what excuse he had to render
for such default saith nothing Whereupon the
Court sentenced Paul Miller to pay a Fine of
Five dollars and the Cost of the attachment
and that he stand Committed until said Fine
and Costs are paid -

And now on this day this
Cause came on to be heard and the parties plaintiff
and defendants appearing in open Court by their
respective attorneys and now the issues being
joined a Jury was called and there came

Saml Harvill, M. Giddings and E.A. Adkins
