  Fall Term AD 1880
          Wednesday November 17th 1880
Whereupon the Sheriff having returned the 
venire facias for the Grand Jury as being
duly executed

Whereupon the persons summonsed to serve as
Grand Jurors for this term of this Court were
called and then came - 1. Daniel Chesser, 2.
John G. Dampier, 3. T.A. Carroll, 4. S.P. Cox, 5. T.B. Knight,
6. W.T. Cheves, 7. W.C. Darden, 8. D.C. Fink, 9. W.S. Campbell,
10. J.C. Eastman, 11. D.C. McIntosh, 12. Frank C. Jolly, 13.
U.H. Hane, 14. W.F. Flynn, 15. S.P. Bevill, 16. Dave Brown,
17. J.W. Watson, 18. Bud R.B. Peeler
Whereupon in appearing to the Court that there 
were Eighteen persons present the Court directed 
the Grand Jurors to retire to their Room and Elect
a Foreman
Whereupon the Grand Jurors came into open
Court and informed the Court that they had 
Elected Stephen P. Bevill as Foreman of the
Grand Jury

Whereupon the following named Eighteen persons
were duly sworn and empanelled as Grand 
Jurors for this Fall Term of our Court
to wit: 1. Stephen P. Bevill (Foreman), 2. Daniel Chesser,
3. John G. Dampier, 4. T.A. Carroll, 5. S.P. Cox, 
6. T.B. Knight, 7. W.T. Cheves, 8. W.C. Darden, 9. D.C. 
Fink, 10. W.S. Campbell, 11. J.C. Eastman, 12. D.C. Mc
Intosh, 13. Frank C. Jolly, 14. U.H. Hane, 15. W.F.
Flynn, 16. Dave Brown, 17. J.W. Watson and 18.
R.B. Peeler.

Whereupon the Court having charged the
Grand July and Isaac Roberts Having been 
duly sworn as Bailiff to the Grand Jury
the Grand Jury retired to their Room.

in this cause being sick this cause is continued.
