  Spring Term  A.D. 1881
    Wednesday May 14th 1881
Whereupon the Court met pursuant to adjourn-
ment his Honor James B. Dawkins Judge
presiding

B.H. Thrasher }  King & Turner
        vs    }  asspt
Mary A. Smith }  Taylor & Sanchez
              }     And now this cause
coming on to be heard and the issue being
joined a Jury was called and there came
J.T. Weeks, Z.T. Taylor, R.T. Powell, J.N. Bone
S.P. Patterson and Robt McClellan who were
duly Sworn and empanelled to try the issue
joined and thereafter after hearing the evidence
the argument of Counsel and the Charge
of the Court retired to Consider of their verdict
Whereupon it was by consent of the Counsel
for the Plaintiff and the Defendant ordered
that the Jury bring in a sealed verdict
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at half past nine =

         Thursday May 5th 1881
The Court met pursuant to adjournment of

                 And now the Jury to wit
in this Cause to wit: J.T. Weeks, Z.T. Taylor
R.T. Powell J.N. Bone S.P. Patterson and Robt
McClellan came into open Court and ren-
dered the following verdict to wit:

      vs      }  asspt
Mary A. Smith }  We the Jury find for the
Plaintiff and assess the damages at one
hundred Dollars         S.P. Patterson
May 4th 1881                  Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and
adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiff

of the sum of one hundred and Six
dollars to me in hand paid I hereby
