vs } Sentence
George Markey } And now the prisoner being in
open Court for sentence was demanded if
he had any thing to say why sentence should
not be passed upon him saith nothing
Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner to pay
a fine of Ten Dollars and the Costs of the Court

Sam Cunningham } and about his person
And now this Cause came
on to be heard and William H. Wigg State attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the authority
of the State of Florida and the prisoner appear-
ing in open Court in his proper person
and being demanded how he would acquit
himself of the Charge against him saith that
he is not guilty as the Indictment alleges against
him and for good and evil he puts himself
upon God and the Country for trial
