Saturday December 18th 1887
Fall Term of our Circuit Court and also
that the Clerk of this Court and also
that the Clerk of this Court do issue a
Venire Facias directed to the Sheriff of Alachua
County commanding him to Summon said Eighteen
Jurors so drawn to be and appear before the
Judge of our Circuit Court at the Hour of Two
Oclock of Monday the 18th day of December
A.D. 1887

Green Wright } with an unnamed female under
} the age of 17 years -

And now this Cause
came on to be heard W.H. Wigg State atty pros-
ecuting in the name and by the authority
of the State of Florida and the prisoner
appearing in open Court in his own proper
person as well as by J.E. Lambeth Esq his atty
and now the prisoner being demanded how he
would acquit himself of the Charge against
him saith that he is not guilty as the Indict-
ment alleges against him and for good and evil
he puts himself upon God and the Country for trial
Whereupon a Jury was called and there came -
W.B. Patterson, Frank X. Miller, M.A. Densler T.M. Cauthen
J.E. Haynesworth and O.P. Cannon who were duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly try the
difference pending and thereafter after hearing
the evidence the argument of Counsel and the
Charge of the Court retired to Consider of their
verdict and thereafter on the Same day returned into
open Court and rendered the following verdict to wit:
We the Jury find the Defendant not Guilty

Whereupon the Court adjourned until
