Spring Term A.D. 1881

The Court met pursuant to adjournment his
Honor James B. Dawkins Judge presiding -

Whereupon the Sheriff having returned the
Venire Facias for the Petit Jury for this the 3rd
week of this term as having been executed
by summoning the following named persons
to wit: John B. Allen - Alex Avera, T.M. Cauthen
John Futch, Robt McClellan, W.B. Hart, James
Cellon  Geo Chamberlin, John Campbell, G.H.
Tison -

R.M. Witt   }  Taylor & Sanchez
     vs     }  appeal from J.P. Court
W.K. Cessna }  
            }  And now this Cause Coming
on to be heard and W.K. Cessna the appellant
saying nothing in bar or preclusion of the
appellees right to recover Whereupon a Jury
was called and there came, Jno B. Allen
Alex, Avera, Geo Chamberlin, W.B. Hart
T.M. Cauthen and John Campbell who
were duly sworn and empanelled to try the
issue joined and thereafter after hearing
the evidence retired to consider of their
verdict and thereafter on the same day
returned into open Court and rendered the
following verdict to wit: We the Jury find
W.K. Cessna indebted to R.M. Witt in the sum
of Eighty one and 61/100 Dollars  T.M. Cauthen
May 9th 1881                        Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered -
----------------------  Considered and adjudged
by the Court that R.M. Witt the appellee do
have and recover of and from W.K. Cessna the 
appellant the sum of Eighty one dollars and
sixty one Cents together with his Costs in
this behalf expended taxed at Twelve
Dollars and Ninety Seven cents and
the said appellant in mercy &c
