       Spring Term A.D. 1888
              Tuesday July 3rd 1888
       The Court met this day pursuant to adjournment
       of yesterday His Honor J.J. Finley Judge presiding

       State of Florida }  Wigg
# 17            vs      }  Larceny of a Domestic
       David Welch      }  Sanchez        Animal
                        }
                          And now the hearing of this
       Cause came on to be heard William H. Wigg State
       attorney prosecuting in the name and by the
       authority of the State of Florida and the pris-
       oner appearing in open Court in his own
       proper person as well as by his attorney E.C.F.
       Sanchez whereupon a Jury was called and there
       came P.J.J. Burton, John F. Donaldson James
       Ritchie A.O. Steenburg -, W.H. Davis, Marion Osteen
       who were duly Sworn and empanelled to well
       and truly try the difference pending and the
       Jury aforesaid after hearing a part of the
       evidence Whereupon the Jury now in open
       Court rendered the following verdict to wit:
       We the Jury find the Prisoner not guilty So say
       we all          W.H. Davis   Foreman
       July 3rd 1888
       Whereupon
                the Prisoner David Welch was discharged
       from custody -

       State of Florida     } Wigg
                   vs       }  Larceny
       Abram Bell otherwise } Geo J. Arnow
       known as Dick Bell   }  And now on this day this
                                     Cause came on to be 
       heard William H. Wigg State attorney prosecuting
       in the name and by the authority of the State
                        who had been arraigned on yesterday 
       of Florida and the prisoner^appearing in
       his own proper person as well as by Geo J. Arnow
       his attorney a Jury was Called and there came
       James Ritchie, M.I. Jones W.H. Davis Daniel Vaughn
       Marion Osteen and J.T. Woods who were duly Sworn
       and empanelled to well and truly try the difference
       pending and thereafter after hearing the evidence
       the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the
       Court retired to Consider of their verdict and
       thereafter on the Same day returned into open
