The Court met this day pursuant to adjournment of
the 3rd instant His Honor J.J. Finley Judge presiding

{ - And now on this day this
Cause came on to be heard William H. Wigg
State attorney prosecuting in the name and
by the Authority of the State of Florida and
the prisoner appearing in open Court comes and
doth
says that he now withdraw his plea of not guilty
pleaded at a former term of this Court and
saith that he is guilty as the Indictment alleges
against him

and now the prisoner being in open
Court sentenced the prisoner to confinement
in the State Prison at hard labor for the space
of one year

And now this Cause came on
to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney prosecu-
ting in the name and by the authority of the State
of Florida and the prisoner appearing in open
Court in his own proper person as well as by his
attorney S.Y. Finley and being demanded how he would
acquit himself of the Charge against him saith
that he is not guilty as the Indictment alleges
against him and for good and evil he puts
himself upon God and the Country for trial
