Spring Term A.D. 1888
    Thursday July 5th 1888
State of Florida }   Wigg
        vs       }  Breaking and entering a building
Isaac Anderson   }  in the night time with intent to
          - E.   }  Commit a misdemeanor = Lambeth
                    and now this Cause came on to be
heard William H. Wigg State attorney prosecuting in
the name and by the authority of the State of Florida
and the prisoner appearing in open Court in
his own proper person as well as by his attorney
J.E. Lambeth and being demanded how he would
acquit himself of the Charge against him
Saith that he is not guilty as the Indictment
alleges and for good and evil he put himself
upon God and the Country for trial whereupon a
Jury was called and there came James
Ritchie M.I. Jones, A.O. Steenburg, W.H. Davis Danl
Vaughn Marion Osteen who were duly Sworn and
empanelled to well and truly try the difference
pending and thereafter after hearing the evidence
the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the
Court retired to consider of their Verdict and
thereafter on the Same day returned into open
Court and rendered the following verdict to wit
We the Jury find the prisoner Guilty So say we all
                           A.O. Steenburg
                                 Foreman

        vs       }  Sentence
Isaac Anderson   }
                  And now the prisoner being in
open Court for Sentence and being demanded
if he had any thing to Say why sentence should
not be passed upon him saith nothing whereupon
the Court sentenced the prisoner to Confinement in
the State prison at hard labor for the space of one
year

James Burnett }
        vs    }  Motion for a New Trial
Jane Clark    }
                   And now on this day this
Cause came on to be heard on a motion for a
new Trial and after argument therein by Counsel
and now the Court being advised of His
opinion doth decide and order that
