And now this Cause came on
to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney prosecu=
ting in the name and by the authority of the
State of Florida and the prisoner appearing
in open Court in his proper person as well as
by S.Y. Finley his attorney and being demanded
how he would acquit himself of the Charge
against him saith that he is not guilty as
the Indictment alleges against him and for
good and evil he puts himself upon God and
the Country for trial

the prisoner and withdraws his plea of not
guilty and saith that he is guilty as the
Indictment alleges against him
Whereupon the prisoner was remanded to Jail
