      Spring Term A.D. 1888
             Tuesday July 24th 1888

      State of Florida   }  Wigg
#58           vs         }  Fraudulently marking unmarked
      Lou Taylor         }  animals - Miller & Lewey
                            And now this cause came
      on to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney
      prosecuting in the name and by the authority
      of the State of Florida and the prisoner who
      had been arraigned on the 23rd instant being in
      open Court in her proper person as well as by
      her attorneys a Jury was called and then came
      A.W. Leighton E.D. Phifer J.M. Shaw J.M. Nevins E.M.
      Clark R.J. Beckham who were duly sworn and
      empanelled to well and truly try the difference pen-
      ding according to the evidence and thereafter after
      hearing the evidence the argument of Counsel and the
      Charge of the Court retired to consider of their
      verdict and thereafter on the same day returned
      into open Court and rendered the following verdict
      to wit: We the Jury find the Defendant not guilty
      so say we all

                 Foreman
      Whereupon the Defendant was discharged

      Madison Douglass   }  And now this Cause is Con-
      tinued and Defendants bond

      State of Florida     }
#62           vs           }
      William S. Landreu & }
      Eliza Jones          } And now this cause is
      continued and the Defendants bonds each fixed
      at $250/00

      Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
      morning at nine oclock
