The Court met this day pursuant to ad-
journment of yesterday His Honor J.J. Finley
Judge presiding

Simon Lemon } and now this Cause is
continued and the Defendants bond fixed at

# 38 vs E } Having a Concealed weapon
Edward Adams } on and about his person

And now this Cause came
on to be heard William H. Wigg Sate attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the authority
of the State Florida and the prisoner who
had been arraigned on the 24th instant
being in open Court in his proper person
as well as by his attorney whereupon a Jury
was called and there Comes T.R. Kennedy
A.W. Leighton E.D. Thomas E.D. Phifer J.M. Shaw
J.M. Nevins who were duly Sworn and empanelled
to well and truly try the difference pending
and thereafter after hearing a part of the
evidence and now Comes the Defendant
and by leave of the Court withdraws his plea
of not guilty and saith that he is guilty
as the Indictment alleges against him
Whereupon
the Court Sentenced the prisoner
Edward Adams to Confinement in the County
Jail at hard labor for the space of One Month
