Spring Term  AD 1889
      Wednesday  May 8th  1889  --  
open Court by their respective attorneys and
now the issues being joined a Jury was
called and then came M.B. Saunders,
John Vaughn, B.C. Johnson, Wm Adams,
C.J. Rivers and F.G. Hagood who were duly
sworn and empanelled to well and truly try
the issues joined according to the evidence.
Whereupon comes the Defendants by their attorney
and in open Court withdraws his plea filed 
herein.  And the Jury aforesaid after hearing
the evidence retired to consider of their
verdict and thereafter on the same day
returned into open Court and rendered the
following verdict to wit:  We the Jury find
for the Plaintiffs and assess their damages
at One hundred and fifty six 93/100 Dollars
so say we all                 M.B. Saunders
May 8th 1889  --                   Foreman

Whereupon it is ordered Considered and adjudged
by the Court that the Plaintiffs do have and
recover of and from the Defendants the sum
of One hundred and Fifty Six 93/100  ($ 15693) Dollars
for their damages together with their Costs
in this behalf expended taxed at Nine 52/100
($ 952/100 Dollars and the Defendants in mercy
&C  --
