       Cause came on to be heard and the
       parties plaintiff and Defendants
       being in open Court by their respective
       attorneys and now the issues being joined
       a Jury was called and there came
       Wm H. Thompson Wm Bates  W.A. Porter M.B.
       Saunders  John Vaughn and B.C. Johnson
       who were duly sworn and empanelled to
       well and truly try the issues joined according
       to the Evidence and thereafter after hearing the
       evidence and retired to consider of their
       verdict and thereafter on the same day
       returned into open Court and rendered
       the following verdict to wit:

       defendant guilty and that the Plaintiff
       is the owner in fee Simple title and is
