Thursday May 9th 1889 -
B.C. Johnson Wm Adams C.J. Rivers and F.J.
Hagood who were duly Sworn and empanelled
to well and truly assess the damages according
to the evidence and thereafter after hearing the
evidence retired to consider of their Verdict
and thereafter on the Same day returned into
open Court and rendered the following Verdict
to wit: - We the Jury assess the damages
for the Plaintiff at Two hundred and Seventy
Seven Dollars and fifteen Cents $27715 so say we
all M.B. Saunders
Gainesville Fla May 9/89 - Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and
adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiffs
do have and recover of and from the
Defendants the sum of Two Hundred
and Seventy Seven 15/100 ($27715) Dollars for
their damages together with their Costs in
this behalf expended taxed at Nine 62/100
Dollars and the Defendants in Mercy
