Cause came on to be heard and the
parties plaintiffs and Defendants being
in open Court by their respective attorneys
now comes the Defendants by their attorney
and in open Court withdraws their plea
filed herein Whereupon a Jury was
called and there came Wm Adams -
C.J. Rivers F.J. Hagood - W.H. Thompson
WmBates, W.A. Porter who were duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly
assess the damages according to the evidence
and thereafter after hearing the evidence
retired to Consider of their Verdict and
thereafter on the same day returned into
open Court and rendered the following
Verdict to wit:- Gainesville Fla. May 9/89-
We the Jury find for the Plaintiffs dam-
ages to the amount of $28848

Whereupon it is ordered Considered and ad
adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiffs
do have and recover of and from the Defen-
dants the Sum of Two hundred and
Eighty Eight 48/100 ($28848) Dollars for their
damages together with their Costs in this
behalf expended taxed at Nine 62/100 -
Dollars and the Defendants in Mercy &c
