Whereupon the Court interrogated the Grand
Jury if they were willing that the Court
should alter a matter of form and not
a matter of substance for any Indictment
by them presented to the Court to which
they assented -
Whereupon the witnesses in the cases of
The State of Florida
vs
Jim Martin were discharged with
day -
Thomas V. Porter } Hampton

Josiah T. Walls } Hughes
And now this Cause
came on to be heard and the parties
plaintiff and Defendant being in open
Court by their respective attornys now Comes
the Defendant by his attorny and withdraws
his plea filed herein whereupon it is ordered
considered and adjudged by the Court
that the Clerk of this Court do assess
the damages - Whereupon the Clerk having
assessed the Damages at Nine hundred
and Twenty Eight 43/100 Dollars -
It is ordered Considered and adjudged by the
Court that the Plaintiff do have and recover
of and from the Defendant the sum of
Nine Hundred and Twenty Eight 43/100 ($92843)
Dollars for his damages together with
his Costs in this behalf expended taxed
at Seven 78/100 Dollars and the defendant
in Mercy &c -
