And now this
Cause came on to be heard and the
parties plaintiffs and Defendant being
in open Court by their respective attorneys
and now the issues being joined a Jury
was called and there came Wm H. Thompson
Wm Bates, W.A. Porter, M.B. Saunders John
Vaughn and B.C. Johnson who were duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly
try the issues joined according to the
evidence and a part of the argument
of Counsel -
And now comes Henry Hall who had been
attached as a defaulting witness was
demanded if he had anything to say
why the Court should not pass sentence
on him saith nothing Whereupon the
Court sentenced Henry Hall to pay a
Fine of Five dollars and the cost of
the attachment -
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine Oclock -
