Spring Term AD 1889
Friday May 10th 1889 -
The Court met this day pursuant to adjournment
of yesterday His Honor J.J. Finley Judge presiding
Whereupon the Court issued the following
order to wit:-
In Circuit Court 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida
Alachua County -
It appearing to the Court that there is a necessity for
a Pettit Jury for the second Week of this term - It is
ordered that the County Judge of Alachua County or
in his absence a Justice of the Peace the Sheriff
and the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Alachua
County shall forthwith draw from the box Con-
taining the list of three hundred selected Jurors-
the names of Eighteen persons to Serve as Pettit
Jurors for the second Week of this term and
that the Clerk of this Court do issue a Venire
Facias directed to the Sheriff of Alachua County
Commanding him to Summon the said Eighteen
persons so drawn to appear before the Court on
Monday May 13th A.D. 1889 at the hour of ten
Oclock of the forenoon of said day to Serve as
Pettit Jurors for the second Week of our Spring
Term AD 1889 -
