                 Spring Term A.D. 1889

                 State of Florida       }

                 Mack Thomas otherwise  }  #2
                 called Madison Douglass}
                                        } And now the prisoner being in
                                           open Court for sentence
                 was demanded if he had any thing to say why
                 Sentence should not be passed upon him saith
                 nothing whereupon the Court Sentenced the prisoner
                 to Confinement in the States prisoner at hard labor for
                 the Space of Six months the execution of this
                 Sentence to begin and be had after the
                 expiration of the sentence of Ten Years heretofore
                 passed upon the prisoner

                                           And now the prisoner being in
                 open Court for sentence was demanded if he had
                 any thing to say why sentence should not be
                 passed upon him saith nothing, Whereupon the
                 Court sentenced the prisoner to confinement in the
                 Stated Prison at hard labor for the space of six
                 months the execution of this Sentence to begin
                 and be had after the expiration of the sentence
                 of Ten years and of six months heretofore im-
                 posed on the prisoner

                 Jim James and                } in the night time with intent
                 Charley Richardson otherwise } to commit a felony -
                 called Charley Williams      }
                                                And now this Cause came
on to be heard   Comes William H. Wigg State attorney prosecuting
                 in the name and by the authority of the State
                 of Florida and now a severance was ordered -
                 and the prisoner Charley Richardson otherwise
                 Called Charley Williams being in open Court in his
                 own proper person was demanded how he would
                 acquit himself of the Charge against him
                 Saith that he is guilty as the Indictment
                 alleges against him
