       Spring Term  A.D. 1889
              Tuesday May 21st 1889
       State of Florida }  Wigg
# 46           vs       }  Assault with intent to Murder
       Thomas Williams  }  Sanchez
                        }  And now this Cause came on
       to be heard William H. Wigg state attorney prosecuting
       in the name and by the authority of the State
       of Florida and the prisoner appearing in open
       Court in his own proper person as well as by his
       atty E.C.F. Sanchez Esq was demanded how he
       would acquit himself of the Charge against
       him saith that he is not guilty as the Indictment
       alleges against him and for good and evil he
       puts himself upon God and the Country for trial

# 48            vs      }  Breaking and entering a building
       Jim James        }  in the night time with intent
                        }  to commit a felony
                        }  Carter & Finley
                          And now this Cause came
       on to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney
       prosecuting in the name and by the authority
       of the State of Florida and the prisoner appearing
       in open Court in his own proper person as
       well as by his attys S.L. carter and S.Y. Finley Esqrs
       was demanded how he would acquit him-
       self of the Charge against him saith that he
       is not guilty as the Indictment alleges against
       him and for Good and Evil he puts himself upon
       God and the Country for trial Whereupon
       Jury was Called and there came, J.H. Waters
       T.B. Smith H. Levy - S.O. Zetrouer T.G. White
       W.W. Carter who were duly Sworn and empanelled
       to well and truly try the difference pending accor-
       ding to the evidence - and thereafter after hearing
       a part of the evidence - Whereupon Comes
       William H. Wigg States attorney and by the leave
       of the Court first had enters a Nolli Prose
       qui in this Cause - Whereupon the defendant
       was discharged -
