Spring Term A.D. 1889
Friday May 24th 1889 -
prosecuting in the name and by the authority
of the State of Florida and the prisoner Isaac
Montgomery who had been arraigned herein on
the 21st instant being now in open Court in his
own proper person as well as by his atty S.Y. Finley
Esqr whereupon a Jury was Called and there came
J.H. Waters - T.G. White, W.W. Carter, W.H.H. Folk, Martin
Huggins, and now the regular Venire is exhausted
Whereupon
The Court issued the following order to wit
In Circuit Court 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida
State of Florida } Alachua County
vs } Indictment for Murder
Isaac Montgomery }
} The regular panel of Jurors in this
cause being now exhausted It is ordered that a special
Venire for Thirty (30) Jurors shall be selected by lot
under the immediate supervision of the County from the
whole undrawn list of Jurors of the County said Venire
to be returnable on Monday Morning the 27th day of
May A.D. 1889 at nine oclock A.M.

Circuit Court and under the immediate
supervision of the Court Drew from the Box
Containing the names of the Three Hundred

Whereupon the Grand Jury came into
open Court and rendered the following
