} And now this day this cause
came on to be heard William H. Wigg State attorny
prosecuting in the name and by the authority of
the State of Florida and the Prisoner Thomas
Williams who had been arraigned herein on the
21st Instant being in open Court in his own
proper person as well as by his attorny E.C.F.
Sanchez Esqr a Jury was called and then
came J.H. Vidal F.X. Miller, J.T. Mizell, L.E. Means
Benj H. Korel W.D. Wells who were duly sworn
and empanelled to well and truly try the dif-
ference pending according to the evidence and
thereafter after hearing a part of the evidence

And now the prisoner being
in open Court for sentence was demanded if
he had anything to say why sentence should
not be passed upon him saith nothing
whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner to
confinement in the County jail at hard labor
for the term of one year -
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine oclock
