The Court met this day pursuant to adjournment
of yesterday His Honor J.J. Finley Judge presiding
State of Florida } Wigg & Finley
# 46 vs } Assault with intent to
Thomas Williams } Murder

And now William H. Wigg
State attorney prosecuting in the name
and by the authority of the State of Florida
and the prisoner Thomas Williams being in
open Court in his own proper person as well
as by his attorney E.C.F. Sanchez Esqr - as also the
Jury who had been duly Sworn and empan-
elled herein on yesterday to wit: J.H. Vidal
F.X. Miller J.T. Mizell L.E. Means Benj H. Korel
W.D. Wells the hearing of this cause was resumed -
and the Jury aforesaid after hearing the balance
of the evidence and the argument of Counsel and
the Charge of the Court retired to Consider
of their verdict and thereafter on the Same
day returned into open Court and rendered
the following verdict to wit: We the Jury find
the Defendant guilty of aggravated assault

And now the prisoner being
in open Court for sentence was demanded
if he had any thing to say why sentence
should not be passed upon him saith
nothing whereupon the Court sentenced the
prisoner to pay a Fine of Five dollars
together with the costs of this prosecution -
