The Court met this day His Honor Judge
presiding
And now comes Samuel H. Wienges Sheriff of
Alachua County and returns the Venire Facias
for the 5th week of this term as having been
executed by Summoning E.F. Finkley L.L. Hill
J.G. Dampier Moses Lightsey John E. Hill W.H. Gay
W.J. Hutchinson F.R. Tillis J.S. Twomey John A.
Goadson J.P. Hall G.H. Scofield Leonard Guthry
Giles Bethea Gilbert Gay and W.L. Mikell and
that W.H. Williams and Joseph N. Wilson were not
to be found in the County.
Whereupon
The Court excused, Giles Bethea Jno S.
Twomey and J.G. Dampier from further attendance
on the Court

William Canty } and about his person
And now this Cause came on
to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney prosecuting
in the name and by the authority of the State of
Florida and the prisoner appearing in open Court
in his proper person was arraigned and
upon his arraignment saith that he is guilty
as the Indictment alleges against him
