And now this day this
cause came on to be heard William H. Wigg
State attorney prosecuting in the name and
by the authority of the State of Florida and
the prisoner who was arraigned herein on the
30th day of May being in open Court in is
own proper person as well as by his attorney
J.D. McConnell Esqr whereupon a Jury was called
and there came E.T. Finkley, L.L. Hill Moses
Lightsey John E. Hill W.H. Gay, W.J. Hutchinson -
who were duly Sworn and empanelled to well
and truly try the difference pending and thereafter
after hearing the evidence the argument of Counsel
and the charge of the Court retired to Consider
of their verdict and thereafter on the same day
returned into open Court and rendered the following
verdict to wit: We the Juror find the prisoner
guilty and remand him to the mercy of the Court

And now the prisoner being in
open Court for sentence was demanded if he
had any thing to say why sentence should not
be passed upon him saith nothing, whereupon
the Court sentenced the prisoner to pay a fine
of Twenty five Dollars together with the Costs
of this Prosecution
