        Spring Term A.D. 1889
           Thursday June 6th 1889
        The Court met this day His Honor J.J. Finley
        Judge presiding

        State of Florida }  Wigg & Ashby
# 31-          vs        }          Murder
        Tennison Hook    }  Lambeth, Hampton Carter & Taylor
                             And now William H. Wigg
        State attorney prosecuting in the name and
        by the authority of the State of Florida and the
        Prisoner Tennison Hook being in open Court in
        his proper person as well as by his atty Mess
        Lambeth Hampton Carter & Taylor as also
        likewise the Jury who had been duly Sworn
        and empanelled herein on yesterday to wit:
        W.H. Gay Gilbert Gay W.R. Stevens J.P. Wells
        Jas Exley, Thos Mikell J.W. Wiggins G.N. Desha
        Ivin Holder E.C. Pound E.B. Berry Frank Rucker
        the hearing of this Cause was resumed and the
        Jury after hearing a further part of the evidence
        and now comes William H. Wigg State attorney and
        in open Court Consents that the Jury shall
        render a verdict of not guilty, Whereupon the
        Jury from the Jury Box rendered the following
        verdict to wit: - We the Jury find the Prisoner
        Tennison Hook not guilty so say we all
        June 6th 1889 -             W.H. Gay

        Sam Taylor       }    S.Y. Finley
                         }  And now this cause came
        on to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney pros-
        ecuting in the name and by the authority of the
        State of Florida and the prisoner who had been
        arraigned herein on June 3rd being in open Court
        in his own proper person as well as by his atty S.Y.
        Finley Esq a Jury was called and there came
        Moses Lightsey, John E. Hill W.J. Hutchinson
        F.R. Tillis John A. Goodson G.H. Scofield who were
        duly sworn to well and truly try the issues between
        the State of Florida and the prisoner at the bar
        according to the evidence - and thereafter after
        hearing the evidence the argument of counsel and
        the charge of the Court retired to consider of
