Spring Term A.D. 1889
Thursday June 6th 1889
Sworn to well and truly try the issues between the
State of Florida and the defendant according to
the evidence and thereafter after hearing the evidence
the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the Court
retired to Consider of their verdict and thereafter on
the same day returned into open Court and rendered
the following verdict to wit: - We the Jurors find the
prisoner not guilty L.L. Hill Foreman -
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine oclock

herein estreating the appearance bond of the
Defendant is vacated and set aside
Whereupon the Court issued the following order
to wit:-
It appearing to the Court that there is a necessity
for a Petit Jury for the sixth week of this Court
It is ordered that the County Judge or in his absence
a Justice of the Peace The Sheriff and the Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Alachua County do forth-
with draw from the box containing the list of the names
of the 300 Selected Jurors the names of Eighteen
(18) persons to serve as Pettit Jurors for the 6th
week of this the spring Term of our Circuit Court
and that a Venire Facias be issued out of this
Circuit under the seal of the Court directed to the
Sheriff of Alachua County commanding him to
