Spring Term A.D. 1889
Monday June 10th 1889 -
duly Sworn and empanelled to assess the damages
according to the evidence and thereafter after hearing
the evidence and the charge of the Court rendered
from the Jury box in open Court the following Verdict
to wit:- We the Jury find for the Plaintiff and
assess the damages at $59125
Marcus Endel Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and adjudged
by the Court that the Plaintiff do have and recover
of and from the defendant the sum of Five
hundred and Ninety one 25/100 ($59125) Dollars for
his damages together with his costs in this behalf
expended taxed at Thirty dollars and Fifty Seven Cents

And now this Cause came
on to be heard and the parties plaintiff and
defendant being in open Court and now the
issues being joined a Jury was called and there
came R.A. Carter, S.B. Torlay, R.W. Campbell
C.C. Pedrick, F.E. Cellon, J.E. Haynesworth-
who were duly sworn and empanelled to well and
truly try the issues joined according to the evidence
and the Jury aforesaid after hearing the evidence
and a part of the argument.
Whereupon the Court adjourned until
tomorrow morning at nine oclock
