Fall Term AD 1880
    Wednesday November 17th 1880
W.O. Colson, Bert Hague and R.G. Middleton
who were duly sworn and empanelled to well
and truly try the difference pending and 
thereafter after hearing the evidence the argu-
ment of Counsel and the charge of the the Court
retired to consider of their verdict and
therafter on the same day returned into open
Court and rendered the following verdict towit:
"We the Jury find the prisoner Guilty so say we
all. Nov 17th 1880    W.O. Colson Foreman

Whereupon the Court adjourned until Ten
O'clock Tomorrow Morning

    Thursday November 18th 1880

The State of Florida  }
       vs.            } Larceny
Fortune Montgomery    } 
                      }And now the Jurors
who had been duly sworn and empanelled
on yesterday towit: S. Guthrie, George B. Evans,
I.U. Malphurs, Benj Haile, R.H. Hawkins and 
J.K. Leary and rendered the following verdict
towit: We the Jury find the defendent not 
guilty so say we all B. Haile Foreman
Gainesville Fla.
Alachua County
November 17th AD 1880

State of Florida   }
      vs.          } assisting prisoners to escape
Nathan Robinson    }
                   } And now this cause coming on 
to be heard. W.A. Hocker states attorney prosecuting
in the name and by the authority of the State of
Florida and the prisoner appearing in his
own proper person as well as by his attorney
F.E. Hughes; and now the prisoner being brought
to the Bar here under the Custody of John W. 
Turner sheriff of Alachua County to which 
Sheriff he is also likewise committed and being
forthwith demanded how he would acquit him-
self of the charges against him saith that
