Spring Term   AD 1889
    Wednesday June 19th 1889
The Court met this day His Honor J.J. Finley
Judge presiding

Joseph Hirst as pro chien   }  Taylor & Sanchez
ami for Walter J. Hirst     }
           vs               } action for the Case
The Florida Southern Railway} R.W. Davis & J.R. Parrott
Company                     }
                            }  and now again the
parties plaintiff and Defendant being in
open Court by their respective attorneys as
also likewise the Jury who had been
duly sworn and empanelled herein on yesterday
to wit: H.J. Bailey E.G. Spencer James A. Fason
Z.T. Smallwood  J.H. Osteen Leroy N. Pearce and
the Jury aforesaid after hearing the balance of
the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the Court
retired to consider of their verdict and thereafter
on the Same day returned into open Court and
rendered the following verdict to wit:
"We the Jury find a verdict in favor of the
plaintiff in the sum of Five Thousand Eight
hundred dollars $(5800)     Jas A. Faison
                                 Foremon
Whereupon it is ordered Considered and
adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiff
do have and recover of and from the Defendant
the sum of Five Thousand and Eight hun-
dred dollars for his damages together with
his costs in this behalf expended taxed at
Eighty nine ~~~~~~~~ Dollars and Twenty Six Cents

                      }  It appearing to the Court
that an order was made in above stated case
at this term of the Court giving Deft ninety days
in which to perfect its Bill of Exceptions and it
being now agreed by Counsel for both Plff and Defen
dant made in open Court that the term be
extended - It is ordered at the Same term
of this Court, at which the case was tried
and before adjournment thereof that said term
be extended to and fixed for Oct 1st next
