Whereupon the Grand Jury came into open
Court and rendered No Bill in the case
of

County of Clay } Be it remembered that on this
Seventeenth day of January in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and Eighty four
personally came John Danson an Alien and
made this Declaration of his Intention to become
a Citizen of the United States as follows to wit: -
I John Danson an Alien a Native of England
and a Subject of Queen Victoria aged Twenty Seven
years being duly sworn say that I do hereby
declare that I am now a resident of the State of
Florida; that I have resided in the United States
for the last five months and that it is my bonafide
intention to become a Citizen of the United States
of America and to renounce forever all allegiance
and fidelity to any and every Foreign Prince Potentate
State or Sovereignty whatever and particularly to the
Queen of England of whom I am now a subject
