                            And now this Cause com-
ing on to be heard and the issues being joined a
Jury was called and there came Albert Strickland
E.W. Smith, Jno Burnett, Geo Gatlin, J.B. Mixson
H.M. Tillis who were duly sworn and empanelled
to well and truly try the issues joined and there-
after hearing the evidence the argument of Coun-
sel and the Charge of the Court retired to Con-
sider of their verdict under instructions from
the Court to bring in a Sealed verdict.

Whereupon the Court adjourned until ten oclock
Tomorrow morning

The Court met pursuant to adjournment of yesterday
His Honor James B. Dawkins Judge presiding

A.E. Bates & George F. Bates }  Taylor & Sanchez
           vs                }  appeal from J.P. Court
James D. Bell                }     Goss
                             } And now the Jury who had
been duly Sworn and empanelled on yesterday and
who had retired under instructions from the Court to
being a sealed verdict came into open Court and
Rendered the following sealed verdict to wit: "We the
Jury find for the plaintiff amnt $51\00"
                                    W.A. Strickland
                                       Foreman
Whereupon it is ordered considered and adjudged
by the Court that the plaintiffs do have and recover
of and from the Defendant the Sum of Fifty one
($51\00) Dollars together with his Costs in this behalf
expended taxed at Five Dollars and Forty Two cents
and the Defendant in mercy &c
