Tuesday January 14th 1890 -
Court withdraws his plea of not Guilty made
herein on yesterday and saith that he is
guilty as the Indictment alleges against
him

And now this Cause
came on to be further heard William H. Wigg
State attorney prosecuting in the name and by
the authority of the State of Florida and the
Prisoner who had been arraigned herein on
the 13th Instant being in open Court in her
proper person as well as by G.J. Arnow her
atty Whereupon a Jury was called and
there came Lewis Kinsey, Robert McClellan
F.A. Bell James Driver Thomas Johnston
W.H. Turner who were duly Sworn and em-
paneled to well and truly try the difference
pending according to the evidence and
thereafter after hearing the evidence the argument
of Counsel and the Charge of the Court retired
to consider of their verdict and thereafter
on the same day returned into open Court
and rendered the following Verdict to wit:-
We the Jurors on the within case find the
prisoner guilty as indicted (to the amount of
Twenty Three Dollars so say we all

And now on this day
the prisoner being in open Court for
sentence was demanded if she had
any thing to say why sentence should
not be passed upon her saith nothing
Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner
Clemmie Williams to confinement in
the States Prison at hard labor for the
space of Six months -
