And now on this day this Cause
came on to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the authority of
the State of Florida and the prisoner appearing
in open Court in his proper person and being
demanded how he would acquit himself of
the charge against him saith that he is guilty
as the Indictment alleges against him

And now the prisoner being
in open Court for sentence was demanded
if he had anything to say why sentence
should not be passed upon him Saith
nothing Whereupon the Court Sentenced the
prisoner to confinement in the States Prison
at hard labor for the term of Three (3) Years
at hard labor

Cause came on to be further heard
William H. Wigg State atty prosecuting in
the name and by the authority of the State
of Florida and the prisoner who had been
arraigned herein in the 13th instant being
in open Court in his proper person as
well as by his atty Mess Taylor & Carter whereupon
a Jury was called and there came A.J. Palmer
J.M. Miller Jr. E. K. Roberts T.E. Jones Louis
Kinsey Robert McClellan who being duly
Sworn and empanelled to well and truly try the
difference pending according to the evidence
and thereafter after hearing the evidence the
