Tuesday January 14th 1890 -
Argument of Counsel and the Charge of the
Court retired to consider of their verdict and
thereafter on the same day returned into open
Court and rendered the following verdict to
wit:- We the Jury on the within Indictment find
the prisoner not guilty Robt McClellan
Foreman
State of Florida } Wigg
# 27 vs } Breaking and entering a building
Daniel Wilson } in night time with intent to Commit
} a misdemeanor
} and now this Cause came on to
be heard William H. Wigg State attorney prosecu-
ting in the name and by the authority of the State
of Florida and the prisoner appearing in open
Court in his proper person was demanded how
he would acquit himself of the charge against
him Saith that he is not guilty as the In-
dictment alleges against him and for
good and evil he puts himself upon God
and the Country for trial -

And now on this day this
cause came on to be heard and William H. Wigg
State attorney prosecuting in the name and by
the authority of the State of Florida and the
Prisoner appearing in open Court in his proper
person was forthwith demanded how he would
acquit himself of the Charge against him
Saith that he is not guilty and for good and
evil he puts himself upon God and the Country
for trial
Whereupon the Court adjourned until
tomorrow morning at Nine oclock
