Fall Term A.D. 1889
  Monday Jany 20th 1890
And now the prisoner James M. Parkerson being brought
to the Bar here under the Custody of Samuel H.
Wienges Sheriff of Alachua County to which
Sheriff he is also likewise Committed was
forthwith demanded how he would acquit 
himself of the charge against him saith
that he is not guilty as the Indictment
alleges against him and for good and evil
he puts himself upon God and the Country
for trial whereupon a Jury was called and
there Came 1. C.L. Minter 2  A.J. Bates 3, Henry
Kellum 4. J.S. Johnson 5 W.G. Shehee 6.
C.C. Townsend and now the regular panel
for this the 5th week of this term being
exhausted -
The Court issued the following order to wit:
State of Florida   }
        vs         }  Murder -
James M. Parkerson }  The regular panel
                      Having been exhausted
by Challenge and otherwise and there being
a deficiency of Jurors to try this Cause it is
ordered that a Venire issue to Sheriff Com-
manding him to Summon fifty persons
qualified as Jurors to complete the panel
said Venire to be returned from the body of
County at large Venire to be returnable at
2 PM Tuesday Jan 21  J.J. Finley
Jany 20th 1890              Judge

Whereupon the Clerk of this Court now
issues the Venire as by the order of the
Court directed -

Whereupon the Court adjourned until
Two oclock P.M. of Tomorrow
