And now the
prisoner Louis Paulding Jr. being in
open Court for sentence was demanded
if he had any thing to Say why Sentence
Should not be passed upon him saith
nothing Whereupon the Court Sentenced
the prisoner to confinement in the States
Prison at hard labor for the term of
Five (5) Years -

And now this Cause
Came on to be heard William H. Wigg
State attorney prosecuting in the
name and by the authority of the
State of Florida and the prisoner
James M. Parkerson being in open Court in
his proper person as well as by his attorneys
S.L. carter and E.C.F. Sanchez as also likewise
the Jury who had been duly Sworn and
empanelled herein and who had heard a
part of the evidence herein to wit: C.L.
Minter, A.J. Bates, C.C. Townsend W.N.
Tillman S.D. Tillman, John Holly, John
Chesnut, Geo B. Evans, Geo B. Cellon
J.R. Hague, W.E. Johnson and R.H. Hall
being in open Court the hearing of
this Cause was resumed and the
Jury aforesaid after hearing the bal-
ance of the evidence and a part of
the argument of Counsel
