the following verdict to wit: We the Jury fund the
prisoner not guilty   R.H. Hall
                         Foreman
Whereupon
         The Prisoner was discharged from cus-
today =

State of Florida }  Wigg
         vs      }  Obstructing Railway Track
John Slater and  }  G.J. Arnow
Willis Browder   }
                     And now this Cause came
on to be heard William H. Wigg State attorney
prosecuting in the name and by the
Authority of the State of Florida and the
prisoner John Slater being in open Court
in his proper person as well as by his attorney
Geo J. Arnow the prisoner having been arraigned
herein on the 16th instant and now Comes
William H. Wigg and moves the Court for a Sev-
erence herein as to John Slater which order
being granted a Jury was called and there
came C.L. Minter, J.B. Mixson, A.J. Bates
Phillip Miller Henry Kellum - T.A. Johnson
who were duly Sworn and empanelled to
well and truly try the difference pending
and thereafter after hearing the evidence the
argument of Counsel and the Charge of the
Court retired to consider of their verdict
and thereafter on the Same day returned into
open Court and rendered the following
verdict to wit:- We the Jury find John
Slater Guilty  Phillip Miller
                  Foreman

State of Florida }
        vs       }  Sentence
John Slater      }
                   And now the prisoner
being in open Court for sentence was de-
manded if he had any thing to say why
Sentence should not be passed upon him
saith nothing, Whereupon the Court sentenced
the prisoner John Slater to Confinement in the
States Prisoner at hard labor for the term of
