The Court met this day pursuant to
adjournment of Monday his Honor J.J. Finley
Judge presiding.
Whereupon now comes Samuel H. Wienges sheriff
of Alachua County and returns the special
Venire Facias issued out of this Court on
Jany 27th 1890 as having been duly executed
by Summoning 1 H.F. Dutton 2 John Kite 3 L.M. Bell
4 J.D. Barron 5 F.B. Atwater 6. J.L. Townsend 7. J.C.
Havis 8. J.L. Strickland 9. J.L. Patton 10. Frank B.
Dell 11 T.J. Musselwhite 12 Clarence Stringfellow --
13 John Hodge 14 Jesse Slocum 15 J.J. Burton
16 L.H. Bennett 17. A.H. Overstreet 18. A.D. Struble 19
Reuben Ford 20 J.I.P. Johns, 21. W.H. Williamson,
22 Geo L. Taylor 23 J.D. Stringfellow 24 Z.T. Taylor Jr
25 J.T. Walls 26 J.M. Barnett 27. S.L. Blanton 28 J.H.
Harrison, and that W.H. Dupree, H.L. Thomas,
R.E. Woodward, W.H. Parker, J.S. Nobles, C.T. Collins
and B.R. Bryan are not to be found in the
County.

} And now this Cause came
on to be further heard William H. Wigg State
Attorney prosecuting in the name and by the
authority of the State of Florida and the prisoner
Andrew J. Collins being in open Court in his
proper person as well as by his attorneys C.L.
Fildes S.Y. Finley & Taylor Carter, as also
likewise the Jurors who had been
selected herein on the 27th of January AD 1890
to wit: Geo W. Stroble W.C. Hague, Julius W.
Thomas and C.W. Forster being also in open
Court. -- Whereupon comes the defendant
by his attorneys and moves the Court to
quash the list of three hundred selected
Jurors as selected by the Board of County
Commission on the first Monday in January
AD 1890 and after argument had thereon
both for the defendant and for the State
and now the Court being advised of his
opinion doth decide and order that said
