Fall Term A.D. 1889
Wednesday February 5th 1890
Horn H.L. Hilliard S.J. Collins J.V. Fralick who
were duly sworn and empanelled to well and truly
try the difference pending and the Jury aforesaid after
hearing the evidence the argument of Counsel and
the charge of the Court retired to consider of their
Verdict and thereafter on the same day returned into
open Court and rendered the following verdict to
wit: February 5th 1890, We the Jury say the Defen
dant not guilty T.E. Horn Forman
Whereupon the Court Sentenced John Randolph
to confinement in the County Jail for two
months at hard labor.
Whereupon
the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine oclock

The Court met this day His Honor J.J.
Finley Judge presiding

And now this Cause came
on to be further heard and William H. Wigg State
Attorney prosecuting in the name and by the
authority of the State of Florida and the Prisoner
Dave Lewis who had been arraigned herein on the
24th day of January A.D. 1890 being in open Court in his
proper person as well as by his attorney C.L. Fildes
a Jury was called and there came T.E. Horn
N.W. Horn, H.L. Hilliard, S.J. Collins and now the
Venire is exhausted -
Whereupon
The Court issued the following order to wit
