                         } And now on this day this
       cause came on to be heard and William H. Wigg State
       attorney prosecuting in the name and by the
       authority of the State of Florida and the pris-
       oner appearing in open Court in his proper
       person as well as by his attorney Messrs Taylor &
       Carter and now the prisoner being demanded how
       he would acquit himself of the Charge against 
       him saith that he is not guilty as the Indictment
       alleges against him and for good and evil he
       puts himself upon God and the Country for trial
       Whereupon a Jury was called and there came
       N.J. Barry Jr. Jasper N. Wilson Reuben May T.R.
       Pickett, Henry Willis, J.A. Ryder - who were duly
       Sworn and empaneled to well and truly try the
       issues between the State of Florida and the Defendant
       according to the evidence - and thereafter after hearing the evidence
       the argument of Counsel and the Charge of the Court retired to Consider of their verdict
       and thereafter on the Same day returned into open Court and rendered the
       following Verdict to wit:- We the Jurors find the Defendant not Guilty  J.N. Wilson
