Spring Term A.D. 1890

At a regular
Term of the Circuit Court of the Fifth Judicial
Circuit of Florida in and for Alachua County
For the Spring Term A.D. 1890 begun and holden
at the Court House in the City of Gainesville in
Alachua County Florida the following proceedings
were begun and held to Wit:-
At Which was present His Honor J.J. Finley Judge of
the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida Hon W.H. Wigg
States attorney for the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida
Samuel C. Tucker Sheriff of Alachua County and
J.A. Carlisle Clerk of this Court -
And now Comes Samuel H. Wienges Sheriff of
Alachua County and returns the Venire Facias
for the Grand Jury as having been duly executed
by Summoning L.Q.C. DeYampert, Wm Trapp, N.E. Benson
C.P. Whitmon James Hague G.H. Brown W.E. Stokes
F.G. Bauknight, S.A. Fennell W.L. Jackson D.C. Fink
J.W. Burnett Jr. W.H. Stroman S.P. Cox A.R. Kelley
John H. Blake and that C.L. Burnett and W.S. Hagood
are not to be found in the County =
Whereupon the Court issued the following
order to wit:-
In 5th Judicial Circuit of State
of Florida In Circuit Court for Alachua
County Spring Term 1890
It appearing to the
Court that the list of 300 persons from
which Jurors are to be drawn for the year 1890
is not selected as required by law in that one
R.M. Chamberlain one of the Jurors for the present
term drawn from said list is not as appears
by proof made to to the Court a legally registered
voter it is therefore ordered that the said list
of 300 persons be quashed and set aside and
that the Panel of Grand and Petit Jurors
as drawn for this term be quashed
