Special Term A.D. 1891
Tuesday January 27th 1891 -
A Justice of the Peace; the Sheriff and the Clerk of the
Circuit Court do forthwith and in open Court draw from the
Box containing the names of the Three hundred selected Jurors
the names of Five persons to complete the panel of the
Grand Jury for this term and also that the Clerk of this
Court do forthwith issue a Venire directed to the Sheriff
of Alachua County Commanding him to summon Instanter
the said Jurors so drawn J.J. Finley
In Open Court January 27th 1891 Judge
Whereupon Comes J.C. Gardner County Judge - L.W. Fennell
Sheriff and J.A. Carlisle Clerk of the Circuit Court for Alachua
County and in open Court drew from the Box Containing
the names of Three hundred selected Jurors the names
of the following persons to wit:-
1 James D. Leitner
2 T. Denby
3- John L. Curry
4 Geo M. Desha
5 Giles J. Burnett -
And now comes J.A. Carlisle the Clerk of this Court and in
obedience to the order and in open Court issues the
Venire as by the order of the Court directed =

And now on this day
this cause came on to be heard and the parties
plaintiffs and defendant being in open Court by
their respective attorneys and now comes the Defen-
dant by his attys and withdraws his plea filed herein
Whereupon a Jury was called and there came
1 B.C. Johnson, 2 W.H. Everitt, 3 J.T. Faircloth
4 A.H. Emmerson, 5 E. Dupree, 6. J.G. Hodges
who were duly Sworn and empanelled well and
truly try the issues joined, according to the evidence
and thereafter after hearing the evidence retired to
consider of their verdict and thereafter on the same
day returned into open Court and rendered the
